How can I define labels and add them automatically when a user uploads an attachment in a space and then make the attachment searchable?
Please elaborate, what pages would you like to be labeled when an attachment is uploaded to a specified space?
In case you would like to attach labels to make the attachments searchable, please consider that most attachments are already searchable: Full search
The search will also look at the content of the following types of attachments:
Word
Text
PowerPoint
Excel
HTML
@AnnWorley Thank you for your reply. What I want to be labelled is the actual attachment and not the page itself. For example I have sample.docx which I want labelled with two or three labels and when I view the attachments I can see the labels.

@AnnWorley I want when a user uploads a document,a prompt to appear to allow the user to enter labels that will be pegged on the document and not the page.

@AnnWorley I have a request from our leadership team for this same feature. How can I have labels automatically added to attachments that I upload to Confluence? Is there a way to have the attachments inherit the labels on the page?
