I have configured Confluence to send out email notifications when a comment or edit is added to a page. Now I want users to be able to reply by email and have their replies added as comments to that page. (Just like in JIRA)
Can this be done? The only documentation I can find about incoming mail handler for Confluence is the Mail Archive functionality. But that's not what I want.
NOTE: There is an add-on that claims to be able to do this, but it appears to be out-of-date (doesn't support vsn 5+), and doesn't look to be very popular. Isn't there any built-in functionality for this?
Hello Kevin,
I'm afraid to say that this feature was not implemented on Confluence yet.
However, we do have a Feature Request on-going for this functionality: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-5002
Please, have a look on our New Feature Request Policy to better understand how Atlassian deal with this.
I would strongly suggest that you vote on this issue to increase its popularity and add it to your watch-list for future updates.
Best regards,
Eduardo Mallmann
