can not link confluence with jira

This is the output, sorry for german text, but I hope that you understood it anyway:

"Die reziproke Verknüpfung kann nicht erstellt werden

Es war nicht möglich die erforderlichen Informationen von https://jira.esyon.de anzufordern. Die Verknüpfung kann nicht erstellt werden."

Next it shows up the message, that the connection is successfully created local but not reciprocal:

"Anwendungsverknüpfung 'Confluence' wurde erfolgreich lokal erstellt, aber die reziproke Verknüpfung nicht. Bitte überprüfen Sie die Konfiguration."

I would be glad for any suggestions.

This could can have several possible causes. 

Did you already go through the Application Links Troubleshooting Guide? 

Maybe something related to the SSL certificates?
