Any idea?
Thanks,
Hi @me ,
I believe this is an issue with Companion accessing the Confluence instance. Does your instance environment have a reverse proxy / transparent SSO in front of it? Some other users have also reported similar issues with a VPN. Companion needs to be able to access the Confluence instance directly.

Alex K (Developer at Atlassian)
Hi,
I don’t use reverse proxy, but have sso.
is there any solution exist?
This is my sso solution
Thanks,

Hi @me ,
In order to use Companion (WebDav) with Kerberos, you have to enable this feature in your Kerberos settings in Kantega SSO. This can be found under Kerberos > WebDav authentication.

@Ole Kristian Aune _ Kantega SSO
Are you sure that Kantega SSO supports the Companion endpoints? Companion does not use WebDAV but does make REST requests with a JWT token to the endpoints specified here

You are of course right here @Alex K . I was mixing up the deprecated Edit in Office feature which used WebDav (https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/edit-in-office-using-the-office-connector-170493096.html) with the new Companion app. We support the use of the Companion app, and I have just verified that there is nothing that needs to be configured in Kantega SSO to make this feature work.
The Companion app might however in my experience have problems if the trust is not configured correctly.

Ole Kristian
