can we do a default setting for the unrecognized file display as a link in confluence 5.7+?

When drag or upload a file to confluence page, it will be displayed as a thumbnail; I think this is a good function, but i do not like the unrecognized file type display as a thumbnail, this will not be helpful, and will take more space in confluence page. I need click the thumbnail then click "show as a link" to display the file as a link.

Can we do a setting for those unrecognized file type display as a link?

Hi Yuhua,

Once you upload the file that you want, you just need to go to the + sign, and select Link Confluence will generate the link to the attachment. So you can delete the reference that has the thumbnail.
