Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×hi all,
German is our main/first language on our Confluence on-prem installation. We encounter, that all users get the daily mail summary in German, not in their profile language.
We would like to have the header texts (confluence changes within the last 24 hours) in the same language as the user has set in his/her profile.
Any idea/help is appreciated
thanks Roland
I think that would be fairly difficult to do. You would have to write a plugin that would have to check the profile language of every user before generating an email.
hi Bill,
we have the english texts on our DEV system (release 6.15.5), but not on our productive system (6.12). Language in user profile is on English, so it might be related to a server setting.

Well the email will be in whatever language the Global Default Language is set to.

Hi Bill
we see a difference between our DEV system and PROD system. Mail notification from DEV are in English, from PROD in German. We assume this is related to server's language setting and will do this change shortly.
