does heart bleed bug affects atlassian products as well ?

We have JIRA and confluence running on SSL. So what changes do we have to do, in order to secure our applications ? we are running on tomcat with linux OS. Please advise.

Depends on how you have configured it, but most people need to

Patch the OpenSSL installed by the Operating system

Generate new certificates

Restart Jira and Confluence

But, I'd read Tiago's comment on https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/282020/huge-ssl-bug-in-apache-how-to-upgrade-tomcat-in-confluence
