error rendering macro 'viewxls'

Exported a space that contained excel attachments into a different instance but the content does not display.  It shows an error message of Error Rendering Macro 'viewxls'.

It also states that it cannot convert the *.xlsx as this file exceeds the maximum file size for xlsx files of 2mb.
