how to get count of licenses used in confluence

Narra Sreenu May 19, 2020

I have a automation task and in this I would like to read count of confluence used  licenses. I have searched for api or db script to get this count but I didn't find anything related to this. Some of the answers are suggested to get active users count or logged in users count to achieve this. But those counts are not matching with count showing in the admin page.

Please suggest me the solution to get this count.

Look at the groups who have "can use" in the Confluence "global permissions".

Then use the "get members" function in the REST API to get a list of everyone in those groups.

That is the list of people you're seeing counted in "active users"

(You'll find accessing the database to be pretty much useless unless you fully understand it)
