Hi all,
In integrating slack and confluence server I installed the Atlassian plugin and click connect slack team. Then I click Go to Slack. From there it gives me only a choice to "Visit Site to Install" which takes me to the Atlassian Plugin from Confluence, which I have already installed in Confluence?!?
How do I install it in Slack?
In Jira it allowed me to Install the App right from slack?
Thanks,
Robert
Sorry about the noise but I figured it out. It was a slack permissions problem. So f you do not see the install choice only the Visit site to install. The problem most likely is that you do not have the necessary slack permissions. Here is what it looks like if you do not have the slack permissions. And clicking on the Visit site to install will only take you to the confluence slack plugin (the one for the Confluence side)
Hey Robert,
Thanks for following up with the fix you found! Glad you've got it working now :)
Cheers,

You bet. The permission I had was admin. You need owner permission to install new apps in Slack. Counter intuitive in my opinion as admin should be able to add apps, but understand now.
