page restriction setting for group add

Dear Support Team,
After add page restriction for group add, we found we must run rebuild index ,and then the setting can work . So we would like to make sure is there cron job for rebuild index?

And we also found when some group is removed at ldap , but the same group at the page restriction is still exist. Would it be possible to automatically remove the same group at the page restriction while the group was deleted at ldap?

reindexing is something that happens periodically so you don't need to perfom manually.
