One of THE benefits of a collaborative Knowledge Management System is credibility of the information i..e traceability of how the information was developed such as the Page History information.
Also if someone has "today" used the in-line comments to query a word, phrase, sentence ... , then that gets resolved and removed, someone else may have the same query and you have to resolve it again.
Unfortunately, there is no way to do it at this moment. And I think that is a good think because you need to preserve the resolved comments for auditing. It gives you the full picture of what happened.
You can raise a feature request to add an option to delete the resolved comments if you think it adds value to your workflow.
