Did you mean:

search-result.vmd not leading anymore?

Matthias Schouten March 27, 2015

Hi,

I want to modify the search-result page that if no result has been found, a button will appear to create new content with the topic the user searched.

I thought that the search-result.vmd is the place to implement it. It was also described already in here: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/44726 Unfortunately nothing happens when I change this file. I can even delete this file and nothing happens. The search result page will always be displayed as before.

Does any one know where I can change the search result page at all? Is there a new VMD file for this?!

btw: I am using Confluence 5.7.1

Cheers

ok... i figured it out... it seems that the Search-Result.vmd is not leading at all anymore.

You have to change the search-result.soy in confluence-search-xxx.jar/templates to ensure that the search-result page will be adapted.
