Is there a way to conditionally hide the "Share with customer" button?

In the workflow, edit the transition, and set conditions, show according to which user, or field, etc.

Thanks for responding! I was actually just looking at this method, but I don't think it will work. I'd actually like to hide the "share with customer" comment button if the Respond to Customer button is present on the jira page
