Cascading select lists alternative?

Hello,

What is the alternative for cascading select lists? We need this for tracking our target releases + milestones and in a single field. 

Cascading select lists brings more coherence than different unrelated fields.

Hi @Andrei Bacanu 

As far as I know Jira Product Discovery doesn’t support cascading select lists, and I don’t know of any Marketplace app that works with JPD for this (if anyone in the community knows one, please jump in!).

Alternatives:

• Use two separate select fields (e.g., “Release” and “Milestone”) and manage consistency with filters or views.
• Or create a combined multi-select field like Release: Q4 | Milestone: Beta for grouping.
• If you need strict dependency, you’d have to manage it outside JPD (e.g., in Jira Software) and sync via automation.
