In Jira Product Discovery, I have a list of rows of costs and benefits ideas and a number of columns by time frame e.g. year 1, year 2 etc.
I can sum up each column by using customer formula roll up for year 1, and Year 2, , but I'm unable to calculate the overall sum across all "ideas" (even if it repeats). e.g. total costs for all ideas in Year 1 and Year 2.
Apparently from another question, I might need a "scripted field" but I don't see that option in JPD.
I am trying to store my cost benefit analysis in JPD to also have the financial related elements of discovery there.
Any thoughts on how I might achieve this and or can I enable scripted fields as a quick win? I don't know how to use them though.
Hi Judy,
If you group your ideas by any field, you can then create a sum by column. i think this should give you the result you're looking for.
Thanks but not. I want to be able to sum up totals for multiple columns.
