Creation new deliver task - checkbox "Embed description" missing

Since the new view for creating or linking delivery tasks is online - the checkbox to embed the description of the Task directly in the delivery ticket is missing.

Has this checkbox/function been completely removed?

@Christian Mahlknecht You can still just drop the link to the idea into the work item's description field and change the display to "embed". The now removed checkbox did nothing else.

I see the functionality is back.

From my perspective, we have a different product and development team.
Keeping the requirements aligned is critical and the ability to embed the ticket allows us to do this seamlessly.

We jumped the gun a bit too quickly, assuming that the new idea side panel would solve the same problem! Luckily we were able to reverse this quickly

Hi @Christian Mahlknecht , you are right the option is gone. That's because we changed how ideas show up in Jira work items (epics, etc.). You now have an "ideas" section there, and if you click on the idea you get the summary and pinned fields in a sidebar directly in Jira. Would that work for you?

hm i think this is not good! because if it was displayed directly and you updated the description in the product discovery task, then the description was automatically updated in the delivery ticket. now you always have to make an extra click to see the description and the description of the delivery ticket is empty.

We really liked the embed option and I am getting a lot of negative feedback from users now that it's gone! I hope you guys bring it back!
