Description template text... auto replace on new text entry?

I don't think this is possible, but maybe?

When using a template for the description field, is there a way to have the instructional text disappear on entering the actual operational text? Simple javascript I'd think?

Hi Glenn, not today. That's something that Confluence does and we use the same text editor so I'm sure it should be doable. Let me bring this up with the team.

I am using the template issue creator and when we select the template, is there a way to replace the name with what the issue is about?
Is this the same question as Glenn?
Do you have a solution yet?
