Hello,
I have a question regarding Mobile Apps of Jira. We have installed a couple of Jira Applications on our mobile phones, and connected this to our environment.
Everything is working perfectly except for the Add-Ons. They never show up on any of the applications.
They do show up when opening the App in desktop version, but this makes it unreadable on our mobile phones.
Is there a application on the phone which has the add-ons available?
What we basically want is that users can use a checkbox (Add-On) which they can check / add photos to via their mobile phone.
Regards,
Mitch
UPDATE (13 Sept 2019) We now support add-on glances in the issue view:
We have started rolling out the ability for 3rd party add-ons with glances in the issue view in Jira to update their add-ons to start appearing within our official apps. So if you have a favourite app glance you want to see in mobile, get in contact with the developer and point them to this blog for instructions on how they can get their add-on glance into the official mobile apps!

ORIGINAL ANSWER:
Hi Mitch,
Our official mobile apps don't currently support 3rd party plugins, however it does sound like you can do what you are describing here without the need for a 3rd party plugin.
If you are just after a checkbox and uploading photos to an issue from your phone, you can do this by adding a checkbox field to the issue type and simply adding attachments to the issue, both of which you can do without any 3rd party plugins and will work with the official Jira apps. You can even add conditions/ validations on a transition to ensure there are attachments added on a transition or that the checkbox field is updated.

Hi Joshua,
Thanks for the answer. It indeed sounds like something we can do without a plugin, however i'm validating the input of the checkboxes right now in order to determine the next workflow step + New added checkboxes.
But thanks for the answer :)
Kind Regards,
Mitch

No worries.
Keep an eye out for updates to the mobile apps in the future. 3rd party plugin support is something we are looking at investing in for the official mobile apps.

If the add-ons you need are not glances within the issue view, we would love to hear more about the add-ons you use and how you use them!
