i tried to find a custom field like an "Issue picker" but that dont exists actualy. I have a case there someone creates a ticket and fill in a custom field a correkt Ticketnumber from the past.
Is there a possibility to fill in the "issue" field under the popup from Linking an Issue with the value of a Custom field?
The outcome should be i fill a field like "old ticket number" with a value like "TEST-123" and the created ticket is automatically linked to this one.
I tried something like this with a smart value of the custom field, but the automation didnt find the values.
I inserted a simple RE-Fetch issue condition to avoid the bug with the fast issue Created trigger. But i dont know if this works basically. I hope you understand my bad english :)
Have you try to use {{issue.customfield_16810}} ?
Also you may try to do a Branch selecting JQL and using the following JQL "key = {{issue.customfield_16810}}". Then add the action link issue between issue and triggerIssue.
