Can I add a gadget to Service desk screens? Or other method to import other content?

Is it possible to add a dashboard gadget to Service desk, using either Refined theme or ultimate extensions perhaps?

I have the "Custom Content gadget" that does what I want, which is to display a page of content from a different site. (So, anyone pointing out CSP might be blocking me, don't worry, if it was, the custom content gadget would fail to load it too.)
I have tried Refined and Ultimate add-ons and their custom HTML. I can load in a single image from the other site, but not another page. Even if I try to add it as a frame. No errors, just doesn't render anything... If you have a suggestion how to achieve this, then I don't need the gadget!

Hi Max,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Just for us to better understand and help you with this question, can you please clarify what is the Service Desk screens? Are you referring to the Customer Portal?
If possible, send us a screenshot of where you are trying to renderer the gadget.

Regards,
Angélica

Ideally the service desk's customer portal landing page. The one that service desk customers first see. At the moment it requires them to start interacting and type the thing they think is wrong. If we could include content from a confluence page, like an FAQ, they can likely just hit the link without even searching.

Hi Max,

It's possible to allow the customers to see the confluence pages without a license, so once you do that, you can add a link to the FAQ on the Introduction text, for example.

- How can I make my users and customers see Confluence pages without a license?

If you have any other question, please let us know.

Angélica

So how can I include a page from Confluence in a way that requires no interaction?
Not a link hidden away in some text nobody reads.
I'm after a full chunk of content from another site.

Along with many of the other useful functions that gadgets perform, like a issue calendar etc. etc...

I'm specifically not asking for a "how do I get confluence links in the portal". I'm specifically asking for Jira dashboard gadgets in the portal.

Hi Max,

The gadgets cannot be added on the portal because it usually contains information that only licensed users can see.
In this case, you can only use announcement message, title and descriptions.
We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of the ability to add gadgets in the portal:
