After searching through the community I learned that it's possible to create a JIRA Software issue from JIRA SD ticket, without the need of changing the environment to do so. I confirmed that this is possible for JIRA SD Cloud and JIRA Software Cloud. However, as soon as I tried on our self-hosted products, there is only a possibility to create a linked issue but for projects that are exclusive to SD.
Both products are synchronized and "link issue" works allowing to create SD x Software issue relations.
Our setup:
JIRA SD self-hosted
JIRA Software self-hosted + VPN
Objective:
Support member to create JIRA Software issue from inside of the Service Desk issue (ticket). Without the need to shift the work environments.
