How can I remove custom fields from Jira Service Management?

korbamm May 24, 2022

Hi,

in my company we tried using Jira Service Management for a bit.
Didn't work out, so I unistalled/deleted/cancelled the subscription. As a product/subscription it no longer shows up in the billing, so that's fine.

But how do I remove all the custom fields that have been added when we went for the trial version?

They are cluttering my system backlog, I don't want them there... any help?
I do have al relevant permissions, site admin etc.

Annoyingly, you can't remove locked fields, and the removal of the JSM app doesn't do it either.

You'll need to get Atlassian to remove them.  All you can do as an admin is flag them "hidden" in all your field configurations.
