JIRA Service Desk Default Priority scheme issue

Dennis Manacap September 4, 2019

Hi,

I am quite new to JIRA and recently assigned to a JIRA tasks to update a SD project and encountered this issue with JIRA Service Desk Default Priority scheme issue.

To update the a Service Desk Project I created a snapshot of SD project in PROD and deployed in DEV.

In the Project Summary, I got this error

Error rendering 'com.atlassian.jira.jira-project-config-plugin:summary-priorities'. Please contact your JIRA administrators.

I tried to attached the Default Priority Scheme, but I cannot.

From Issue > Priority Scheme there is a warning message "Currently, priority schemes are not supported for JIRA Service Desk projects."

I read this is already resolved in  JIRA 7.7.0, but Is there a work around for this for version 7.6.2?

Thanks,

Dennis

There is no row for the default priority scheme in configurationcontext table. You can fix it by follow the instructions found on this link: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/priority-scheme-is-not-associated-to-a-newly-created-project-by-default-945524522.html?_ga=2.37613664.1738277143.1567647397-214707426.1517458758
