Jira Service Desk : Impossible to add an email channel with EXCHANGE.

We receive the following message :

Unfortunately JIRA couldn't connect to the mail server. Here is what the mail server said: "Unexpected response: 220 SRVEXCHANGExxxxxxxx Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service ready at Thu, 5 Sep 2019 10:22:08 +0200"

We try with POP

This usually means the credentials you have entered are wrong (not that the route is blocked).  It may also be that the mail server is not set up to accept POP connections.

I'm afraid you'll need to check the logs on the mail server to find out what your connection is doing.

As Nic mentioned, you probably have the wrong credentials. I can tell you that port 25 is usually an SMTP port, not POP3. Please double-check with your email server admin for the correct credentials to connect to your server.
