Hello Assist,
I have use service desk. But in my service desk show me like this error "Jira Service Desk is licensed but not currently installed."
If I follow following post : "https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/the-error-jira-software-service-desk-is-licensed-but-not-currently-installed-is-shown-in-the-versions-licenses-page-974374058.html" 2nd step than my issue will be resolve? or any issue with plug in which i have already installed on it.
Thanks
Yes, log in as an admin and use the "install" option on the "manage applications" page.

Like i have already installed jira service desk. but i think when i update my plugin's after give me this error.
when i search online this issue i found one link regarding https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/the-error-jira-software-service-desk-is-licensed-but-not-currently-installed-is-shown-in-the-versions-licenses-page-974374058.html this one.
In this, link 2nd step is you need to "Rename the $JIRA-Home/plugins/installed-plugins directory to $JIRA-Home/plugins/installed-plugins2" and then installed service desk.
So i will try this one then my old plugin removed or remaining as it is?
This is my question

I have to guess that there are things happening here that you have not told us about.
I can't work out why, when faced with "X is not installed" and button next to it saying "Install X", you start faffing around with apps and directories instead of at least trying the installation. If you want service desk installed, you should at least try to install it.

Ok, great, now you have tried this, you have put yourself in a position where https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/the-error-jira-software-service-desk-is-licensed-but-not-currently-installed-is-shown-in-the-versions-licenses-page-974374058.html might be valid.
Could you run through that again and tell us whether you hit cause 1 or 2?

I do not know if it will solve it. It is the next step in trying to fix the problem.
I'm worried that you are doing this on a production system though, it is something you should be debugging in test.

I have one more question regarding jira update.
Can you give me test licence so I have install another jira server and check new update is going good or bed?

I can't generate licences, I'm not the account owner. Plus, there's no "Test licence" for Atlassian stuff.
Your production licence includes a "development" licence option though - go to your my.atlassian.com account, find your licence and look at the links beneath the key, one of them is for a developer licence.
