Jira Service Management Reports Line Graph

Hi,

I am using JIRA Service Management Sandbox on the server now, but in the future we will use Cloud Version. I am exploring the custom Reports in JIRA project left sidebar, Reports > CUSTOM > New report, but I can only see line graph, is it possible to set up other kinds of report graph like Pie Chart ? How to set up? Thank you.

Allow me to step in and share with you that there is a feature request suggesting improvements for Service Management reports:

• More customization ability for Service Management reports

Please, click on vote and also watch to receive updates about the request.

The workaround is to use gadgets on a dashboard as Liam suggested or use an add-on. You can find some options on our Marketplace.

Yes, I have voted for the feature request. I thought the report page at JIRA Service Management should be similar to other helpdesk software such as Zendesk.

Currently we st up gadgets on Dashboard and will see if we need to use an add-on from Marketplace.

Welcome to the Community!

As far as I'm aware, the reporting page only shows line graphs.  If you create a Dashboard for your project then you'll be able to add pie charts and other features to this.

If you've not used Dashboards before, then this guide should be helpful.

Thanks for quick reply. Alright then, only line graphs in Reports.

I tried to set up Dashboard before, but I cannot find gadgets setting, I suppose gadgets are the chart things, is it because it is a sandbox environment or I do not have enough permission for setting ? Attached what I see, thanks.

Once you've named your dashboard and pressed 'add' you will be able to add your gadgets to it :-)
