Modifications on customer queue on JSD server

Hello!

I am currently using jira service desk v8.4.0.

My team needs the some modifications on the way customer queue looks.

  1. Need more filter options on the page for search efficiency.
  2. The first column "Type" shows icon of the request type, can we show request type name instead?
  3. Can we also few more columns to it? Like, Priority field, date of creation etc.
  4. Can we rearrange the sequence of the columns on the customer queue?

Please let me know if it is achievable anyhow.

Hi Pooja,

I understand that you are looking to modify a few different aspects of the customer portal in Jira Service Desk server.  Unfortunately, the four things you want to change are not customizable to that level at this time natively.

We do have a few existing feature requests for these such as:

That said, you might be able to customize some of these though the use of a custom or existing plugins for Jira Service Desk.  For example, Scriptrunner has a documentation section called Customising the UI that has some examples of things that plugin can help with changing.  But that is not the only solution, there also exist others in Marketplace, such as the My Requests Extension for Service Desk; I know this one can specifically show additional fields in the customer portal, so it might be worth checking out.

You might find other solutions in Marketplace as well. I hope this helps.
