We've gone through all the plugin install steps. The Service Management Connector

  • passes "Test connectivity"
  • gets the "Sync Started" pop up when we sync
  • connector settings have been configured to the correct JSM project with the correct severity
  • we've confirmed all green in the installation manager

Still no tickets are created and we do not receive any error messages. Any help in getting this working would be much appreciated.

Hi Mike,

A few things to verify:

  • Does the account being used in AWS for the integration have sufficient IAM permissions?
  • Ensure all of the Fields needed by AWS are configured in the project and issue type where you are attempting to have tickets created. You can verify this in the AWS Service Management Connector settings under Installation Manager. You will see several warning messages at the top of this page if Fields are missing. The Fields required will be dependent about which AWS service you are attempting to integrate with.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you run into any other issues.

Thank you,

David Grizzell
