Are Knowledge Base Requests deflected, Requests resolved reports released to Service desk server?

Sonya Goldstein September 20, 2018

A blog in september 2017 indicated that the eagerly awaited revamped requests resolved and requests deflected reports that allows user to view informatics at an article level were soon to be released to Cloud and Server.   We are on Server 3.5.

Has this been released to server and on what version?  We desperately need this!

@Shannon S   I just did some additional research within your JIRA Development ticket queue and according to it, Atlassian did NOT deploy the beautiful and highly necessary reports and features illustrated in the blog that they posted as coming soon.  The associated server request ticket is still "gathering interest"?   Are you able to help?

Hi Sonya,

The blog in question is specifically for Jira Service Desk Cloud and does not affect Server.

Can you let me know specifically which one of the features you're interested in? I could then raise a feature request for you for that feature.

Regards,

Shannon

@Shannon S- I very specifically referenced the actual "new reporting/analytics" that you said you were releasing soon on cloud.  Is it already on cloud?  we are on server and need this EXACT same set of reports on server.  People have been asking for this for a long time so there should be requests but it should be EXACTLY like what you indicated was going to be deployed on cloud.  I am not certain if this may already exist.

@Shannon SI very specifically referenced the actual "new reporting/analytics" that you said you were releasing soon on cloud.  I don’t know what the associated “feature” on cloud is to link or reference.   Is it already on cloud?  we are on server and need this EXACT same set of reports on server.  People have been asking for this for a long time so there should be requests but it should be EXACTLY like what you indicated was going to be deployed on cloud.  I am not certain if this may already exist.  If you can find the associated cloud feature(s) tickets that are associated with the reporting that is specified in that blog, that is exactly what should be cloned if it does not already exist.

This represents a significant budget outlay to try to address via third party integration and since Atlassian is already indicating that it is solved, I’m trying to assess when I can expect on server rather than build

Hi Sonya,

I can confirm it has indeed been deployed to Cloud as the blog promised. At this time we do not have plans to implement this feature in the near future for Server.

In regards to your mention of the feature request at JSDSERVER-5482, please note this is separate from being able to expand specific data points (which is the feature that is mentioned on the blog post.)

There's a Cloud request for the very same: JSDCLOUD-5542

At this time, both requests are feature requests, which we choose to implement based on our Implementation of New Features Policy.

Please go ahead and add your vote to the request, and comment there with your use case in order to promote the request.

Regards,

Shannon
