Hello,
In our Jira project, we have two boards:
We manage these boards using board filters, and in general, they work as expected. However, on our epic board, the filter keeps resetting itself to the wrong one.
I can go into the board settings, select the correct filter, and the expected epics are displayed. But after some time, Jira automatically switches the board to a different filter without any manual changes.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or knows what might be causing this?
Thanks!
Welcome to the community.
Could be an issue with the board. Create a new board and use the filter and remove the old board.
Did did solve the issue?
it seems that this indeed solved my issue. Thank you!

Hi @Milan Wevelsiep , welcome to the community.
I've never seen a scenario where they autonomously change. I would suspect that this is a scenario where another admin keeps switching it back to what they expect to be. However, it could be some obscure bug, but I tend to doubt it.

Hi Jack, thank you for your swift response! We do not have another admin that is switching back the filter, it always happens automatically. I suspect that there is some issue with permanently saving the filter, at least in our project.
