Create Automation to update status in another project

I am trying to create automation in Team managed project that will update status of a linked issue in a company managed project . Can we make the automation's scope to be multiple project so i can update a linked issue that is in another project? Automations created in Team Managed Project can only edit/transition issues within the team managed project.

Your Jira Site Admin will need to change the rule's scope from the global automation area.

First, we need to create the automation at the global level. After that, you can start creating Automation  based on the your trigger conditions.
