I searched on the forum, google and in all others menus to find the reason of that I checked the option "Customer Permissions" and it's on Customers who are added to the project for the 2 projects, it's why i don't understand this behavior.

Do you have the same org in the two projects? One think that can be overlooked is when adding a customer to an org where the org is shared between projects.

Hello,

Project 1

I think it's the good configuration no?

I added customers to project 1 (in a organization) :

And it is copied to the Project 2 (in the root directory customers).

Why?? Thank you!

What a strange behaviour!

Did you mind to do the following?

Ensure that both projects are configure as mentioned above:

'Who can raise requests' section using the 'Customers who are added to the project' option

Then remove both organization and the customer from the both projects, after so, you must see the following screen when accessing to the Customer section on both project:

Then, add the user and the organization to the desired project. Is the user replicated in the other project this time?

Hello,

i deleted all customers and organization, from project 1 no problem because i delete it from Organization but for Project 2, i was unable to delete it, i have to delete it from user management.

After that, i create a new customer to project 1 and it appear again in project 2 :(.

You need to know for the test i created another project 3 and for this project, no customers was created. It seems only for project 2. Project 2 was a Jira business project i converted to jira service desk project, could be a bug?

I already try to delete the project 1 and rest with the same name to recreate it but the problem still the same. Have i to delete all jira software and reinstall all? No a good solution for me :(

Hi Julian,

I believe the better approach here is to directly contact the support team to see if there is any kind of bug after converting your Jira Business projecto to a JSD project and to discard a misconfiguration.

Use the following form to raise a support request

Hi Julian,

Could you please share with us how Customer permissions are configure on both affected projects?

Note that if you want to manually manage who can access to your ServiceDesk project you must configure the 'Who can raise requests' section using the 'Customers who are added to the project' option
