Hi team, how can we make a transition screen visible on the Porta Screen in JIRA service desk

HI team,

I have added a transition screen with few fields in JIRA on a transition named as "UAT Approved" where the Business users needs to enter those details.

Now the problem is Business users are the End users and they dont have access to jira and have access to only the portal screen.

But on the portal screen the transition "UAT Approved" is visible but it does not shows the fields that needs to be entered by the business user.

Once they click on UAT Approved button from portal the Issue gets moved to another status without giving a validation or pop-up screen in portal.

Is there any other way i can handle this requirement apart from using a add-on.

You can set a default value for the field. In so doing if the customer executes the transition the default is used.

Transition screens are not available to customers. Without using add-ons, the only way I can think of is asking the customer for the information in the comment section and have the jira agent fill it out in the issue.

You can add a comment template so that you dont have to manually type the same question everytime.
