How to create a Linked Issue in JIRA SW from JIRA SD

I have JIRA SD and JIRA Sofware instances,  When someone reports that issue gets created in JIRA SD and I can create a JIRA SW linked issue with the same content of the JIRA SD ticket by clicking on Workflow --> Link to JIRA SW, which creates the JIRA SW issue with all the content in the JIRA SD ticket.  How do I do this using JIRA REST API?

You might want to go through this KB on How to use REST API to add issue links in JIRA issues and see if that help.
