I need a feature that let customers know what ticket that they create, get a response.
maybe like a new mail that is bold or maybe get a notification in toolbar. what should I do about it?
It's not about send an email. just in customer portal.
If they're using the customer portal, then they've created the issue there and don't need a notification because they've just created it. If they're creating it by email, then they're not looking at the portal and probably need an email back to confirm it.
I don't think your suggestion of telling someone that they've just done something that they are already looking at the results of is that useful.
And if they are in the portal, upon page refresh they have a badge icon on their avatar that increments with every new issue.
