Hello!
We have project with several customers with acces only to customer portal. Now one customer that would like to have a notification if one of the other customers of this project creates an issue.
Does anybody have an idea how to solve this?
Thanks for your help & kind regards,
Janine
Check out the Add-on called Automation for Jira.
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215460/automation-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview
With this you can set up automations which sends email to specific email addresses, the reporter, assignee, etc. either when an issue is created, transitions, or otherwise updated.
You'll be able to use HTML and CSS, so you can style and control how the notification emails look.
In addition to function as a tool for notifications, it also gives you a wide variety of other options for automating tasks in Jira.
Yes you can do it, just manage your notification scheme to allow this one user to receive a mail when a issue is created.

Hi Mohamed,
Thanks for your quick reply! Yes we tried that. First me made a separate notification scheme just for that project.
Then we wanted to add the notification to "single user" for the event "issue created". We can choose the user in the list, but after clicking on "Add" there's just an error without further details.
Kind regards,
Janine

Did you entered the user name after selecting single user ? Did jira find this user ?
