Outgoing email queue full with errors

Hi all,

we have seen our mail queue is full of errors and I need to know how can I short out the issue, how can I know the error or where this is coming from.
I have added the more info to debug level,com.atlassian.jira.service
com.atlassian.jira.service.services.DebugService, as in this KB: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/troubleshoot-notifications-in-jira-203394737.html
So far I don't see anything really helpful in the logs, nor in the database and I've been googling trying to find some answer on this topic but nothing.
Where can I find any message related to SMTP? Is there any other package or tool that might help us to solve the issue? 

We have restarted an it didn't help so far

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

Do you know if the email failures are intermittent or if they never work? You can send a test email which includes SMTP logging to check for any errors in Jira. See the following page for more information on how to do this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-send-a-test-email-in-jira-317197303.html

You could also try adding debug logging for the package com.atlassian.mail. Can you also include any screenshots/logs that you do see related to the errors?
