Hi Jira Gurus,

I want to have a custom field that has access to realtime currency exchange rates.

The field should be able to convert an amount from another field using the current conversion rate to USD.

How can I make this possible?

You could do this using automation and REST API that query currency exchange rate data. The automation would trigger on when the other field is updated and then get the currency rate via a web request. The returned data from that request can then be used in a smart value to calculate the USD rate.
