When a customer is logged into the portal, and they try to view their own profile, they are redirected to the portal Help Centre landing page.
The url displayed is <base url>/servicedesk/customer/user/profile but the content appears the same as <base url>/servicedesk/customer/portal/2.
Is this normal behaviour, a configuration problem, or a potential bug?
Hi @John Roberts-Davies ,
Checked this at my end too, seems to be working correctly.
Would recommend checking this in scenario in your browser while in "Incognito". This is to verify if your browser cache isn't causing this issue. (usually happens a lot while I use Chrome browser)
Hi John:
This is not how it should behave. Have you try to with your account + your agents accounts to see if the same behavior happens?
I was not able to repo the problem in our DC envs.
If not, then I would recommend you to contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) for their further assistance on the issue.

Thanks @Jehan Bhathena and @Joseph Chung Yin
The problem occurs with different browser applications, and using both agent and customer user accounts.
I will contact Atlassian Support.
Regards,
John

FYI, with support from Atlassian the root cause has been narrowed down to an interaction with the Data Protection and Security Toolkit for Jira app. I suspect I need to re-configure the app.
