Customize the top level portal page

HI, we are able to add announcements to the top level jira service desk landing page which is our portal for customers from where they can pick from

I need to Request Something
Something is Broken

We want to customize this page to provide the above two links via two large buttons on the page.

How can we customize this page to replace the links with buttons and put tooltips or other messages on this top level Portal page?

I want to put two large buttons below the Search Bar.   One will link to Service Requests and another to Incident.

The portal has limited customization built in.  You will need to use an app like Refined to customize the portal more than what is provided.
