Hide SLA from users

Hello,

We have business units on our Jira that we don't want to have visibility on our internal SLAs.

First answer is of course: "don't give them JSM license". But we still have an issue as SLAs values are displayed on CSV export.

I tried to implement a Web Fragment with ScriptRunner based on currentUser's group, and it works, but of course, only for the issue view part, and not the issue navigator (and export).

From what I saw (JRASERVER-1330), we might use a plugin which seems to allow field-level security.

Do you have any other idea that might help?

Thanks,
Florian

Hi @Florian Edian

You can simply hide Service Project from business units if it is a solution for you. If you show the tickets, they will naturally see the fields because there is no field-level security.

Hi @Tansu Akdeniz

Unfortunately, we still want some of them to access issues through Jira and not from the customer portal, so they must have at least Browse project permission.

Also, not giving them license does hide SLA on issue view but not on export.

Thanks anyway,
Florian
