Hello everyone!
I cant find anything about automation rules ordering.
I have 2 rules upon issue creation, and I want to run in order instead of simultaneously.
Does anybody have an idea?
Thank you
I do not think this is possible. With that said please provide more details about your two automations, what you’re trying to accomplish with them, why the ordering is important and maybe we can establish a solution.
Hello @Athena Petridou [Nimaworks] ,
Have you tried the "Rule run options" (--Allow this rule to be triggered by other rules--) from this link : https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskserver/automating-your-service-desk-939926334.html
As i know the rules run simultaneously! However, I don't know for sure if the solution above works as you expect but maybe it's a way to workaround your issue.

Hi Christos,
Thanks for your answer, but this is not the case. I do not trigger the rules from the rules themselves. I just want to first run Rule1 and then run Rule 2.
Thank you

Hmm ok. The possibility to edit the workflow of the Helpdesk and add some "scripted rule post-functions" on the creation step?
If this also doesn't handle the situation i am off the case :)
