We create our issues using emails and most of the emails do contain line breaks. However due to the spacing settings in JIRA, these appear as extra lines in the Description field. Too much white space (fyi for Rich text, I use Jeditor add on for Description field)
Unfortunately, when I manually send a response through the ad hoc email function in JETI , I have to render the Description field as part of my response. When the response email is viewed in outlook, it looks horribly spaced.
Is there any way I can shrink this extra spacing in the description field or my response so that my emails look similar to Outlook at least?
I presume this a common problem and there would be any easy solution?
Cheers

Thanks Angelica. Happy to receive the resolution on one platform.
I am however looking for a quick solution as it is hampering our implementation of Service Desk significantly. Please let me know if you need further details

Hi Saad,
I've checked the ticket and they confirmed that you are being affected by the bug JSDSERVER-3782.
The workaround is: Use the Plain Text format when sending out email to JIRA Service Desk using Outlook.

Angélica
