Hello
I have Jira Service Management connected to one Confluence space for the knowledge base.
I have implemented labels to limit the suggested articles when customers are completing incident and request forms, which is working as expected.
However, when a customer uses the search function on the the customer portal, it returns results for all articles in the Confluence space.
The Confluence space contains customer relevant information but also technical knowledge that is not suitable for the customers to have access to. How can the search results be restricted?
Hi @Paul Reynolds ,
my suggestion is to restrict those confleunce page using restriction in Confluence.
My usual approach is to create a specific page "Private" restricted in edit/view to your internal users/groups and move all those pages under that page.
As you know, Confluence restrictions will be applied to all sub pages.
This approach should solve your issue.
Hope this helps,
Fabio
Thanks Fabio, that makes sense and I will do that. Although it does seem odd that the search is not able to be limited by the use of the labels or built in features.
