Hi!
Would it be possible to implement following in Jira SD:
If a ticket hits a specific status, an e-mail including the content of the ticket (reporter's notes and attachments) will be created and sent to an external recipient.
I've looked into transition triggers, post functions and the like as well as plug-ins for Jira SD - nothing in that direction.
Any help or hints appreciated, thanks!
Cheers,
Dominik
Hi Dominik,
there are two possibilities to do that:
- Without Addon (only link, content of the ticket is not included):
- With Addon:
This Add-On will help you create and automatically send the reports/issues to any email address at any stage of the workflow or in a scheduled time.

Hi!
The plug-in looks promising, I shall look into it. Thanks!
Yea, I've already played around with Jira's event notification system and quickly realized I would need additional components.
Cheers,
Dominik

I don't see 'notification template' in the Template field drop down.
Is there anything I need to configure? I am using Jira SW (Data Center) 8.7.1

I'm sorry but that automation is disgusting, as only allows to send an email to the reporter or customers involved. Is terrifying how you can't put a common email address there. Would be perfect if you could put some recipients there, but don't, you can't.

Hi,
I like app "Automation for Jira". External email addresses can be directly added.
