Hi,
we have a service desk set-up to receive issues either from emails or from the service desk portal (cloud).
I would like to open a ticket in my system and email that ticket to an outside provider using our service desk email. But I don't know how I can email somebody with our service desk's email as sender. The purpose is to track the exchanges with the outside provider in our service desk.
We are using the cloud email address and cannot configure one from our server.
Do I have to use an add on to send the email from the ticket?
Is there a place where I can send an email from the cloud email address?
Thank you
Hello, im not sure if anyone here still looking for answer on this but I saw this Share button in a JSM ticket and reckon that is the use of it. The email template/format might need to be configured a bit so that it will be friendly to external recipients.
Hi Patrick, you can set this email address in the notification scheme for your project.
Go to the project settings, select summary, to the right you will see notifications, select the notification scheme and then edit the email addressHope this helps

I don't want to change the sender's email address, I want to send an email using the cloud email as sender. It's project@domain.atlassian.net It's fine that just need a way to forward a ticket using that email
