System Field Value in JQL

Kundan Mukherjee March 27, 2020

Hi All,

I am looking for the value of "Reporter" field to fetch in a JQL to fire, so that it can find the related values and provide. Is there any way, script runner would also work.

There seems to be only half a requirement here, so I am stuck on what you are looking for.

The JQL

reporter = nic

will list all issues reported by nic.  Given that, I am not sure what the rest of your question is looking for.  Could you explain more?

Thanks @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- , elaborating the issue more.

The field Reporter is dynamic, sometimes through email, sometimes portal and sometime tickets generated by agents on behalf. I set reporter=currectUser() but it picks up the person who is generating the ticket, not the reporter (user picker). I want to track the dynamic value of the reporter field in my JQL (whatever value there in the ticket). Since it's a system field my groovy also provide a junk value, so I can't use the value in another custom field.

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks Nic, I am able to find the solution, though pie-chart I got the required data.
