Dear Team,
I am unable to update the ticket in my JIRA application as the option of Update is not showing up. I am using JIRA Service Desk (3.9.4) application and browser is Firefox ESR (38.5.2) version in my machine.
CAN you please look into this and help to resolve if anything is missing from my side. Thanks

Do you mean that you don't see an Edit button as in this screenshot:
If not, can you attach what you see and highlight what you expect to see?
Sounds like you do not have the permission to Edit Issues in the project. Are you a JIRA/Project admin?

Thanks for your response.
Yes, am not able to see the comment or edit button at the end of the JIRA where I can add my updates or inputs to ticket. I can only see a me added under JIRA USER as the group.
Will check with other folks if they are having different role than me.

Thanks for the follow-up. Sorry for delayed response.
I was able to access the after I upgraded the Firefox version which I was quite old one (38.x.x) to the latest version of 61.x.x.
With the upgrade, I was able to see the comment section where I am now able to add the comments to ticket and update them. Thanks everyone for your support.
