Want make sandbox with fully copy data, including the data of Jira Software

Hi Community

i am using Create a sandbox and Copy data to sandbox this two functionalities, based on this document, to copy data from prod to sandbox. But the data of Jira software( for example： project) was failed be copied. My question is how to copy the data of Jira software from Prod to sandbox? we don't want to do this manually.

Thank you for your quick reply. The thing is i didn't face any error during the copy data process, but it take about more than 2 hours to copy data from prod to sandbox, i am not sure whether it is normal or not.

the doc says:

We're currently rolling out the data copy capability for Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence sandboxes. This allows all organization admins to copy data into a sandbox from within your organization's administration

i am not sure whether the copy data to sandbox feature can do the data copy for Jira Software for the current.Thanks

Hi Fei,

Sorry for the late reply. It sounds like you were using the data copying process. 2 hours is fairly normal depending on the size of your production site.

We just recently rolled out the data copying feature for Jira to everyone and will be updating all of our public information to reflect that.
